Installation of new riser at Njord A.

Me and Stener Døhlen arrived Njord A 27.8 by helicopter from Kristiansund. Work was to install a new production riser OP-A02. The work went very well onboard Njord, but the vessel "Skandi Seven" struggled a bit with a leaking hydraulic cylinder. This was eventually fixed and installation was completed 1.9.

Normand Mermaid - again!! June 13th - 25th

Mobilised vessel in Kristiansund with massive equipment setup and full crew of 70 people.

Back out on Tyrihans and performed 3 Rovcon tie-ins at C and D Template.

Also had a trip down to Draugen to check for oil-leaks. A nice trip ended with a broken Starboard Azimuth truster. Vessel had to go to Kristiansund and demobilise most of the guys before it continoued to Haugsund for drydock work. Expected back out again in 14 days.

Normand Mermaid - March 19th - April 2nd

Onboard Normand Mermaid this time at the Tyrihans field which is about 20km from Kristin Platform.

Its a relative short trip until April 2nd where we will demob in Kristiansund. Weather was a bit rough out here, so a few people became seasick.

My collegue onbord is Gordon Robertson and the offshore manager is Åge Pedersen.

Purpose of this trip is to correct and secure 3 inline Tees which are slightly out of position. Waterdepth is approx 265m. Additional work is to remove two initition piles at Kristin.
The plan is to go in to Kristiansund April 2nd and demob all Tyrihans equipment. Shell will take over the vessel at this stage and go to Draugen

Wellservicer - Jan 14th - 23rd

My first diving operation onboard the CSO Wellservicer. Mobilised the vessel at CCB outside Bergen with 18 divers.

Our first operation was at Tampen Link for recovery of a stuck 80kNm torque tool and flush the 12" in-line Tee with MEG. Next was to perform flsuhing and pressure test of the TLS PLEM HP cap and stabilise the GRP covers at SIPS Hot-tap T. I was together with Bjarne Sandvik and Knut Steinar Kvindesland.

The next operation was to blind one of the seawater inlets on Snorre A platform. Diving depth was 35m and vessel distance to platform was down to 9m. Unfortunately we had to abort the operation due to limited weather window and borderline length of diver umbilical.

I left the vessel via Shetlands and Scotland.

Skandi Bergen - Aug. 26th 2007

Offshore again - onboard Skandi Bergen. Changed crew in Kristiansund and was scheduled to go out the same day. Then we got a "few" problems that delayed us 1 week, but we finally got out today.

Started the job with wetstoring a manifold structure on template K, then moved over to template J for dredging and cutting operations.

Was onboard for nearly 6 weeks and it was interesting with a lot of technical problems.

The biggest challenge was to get back in a L-spool to template K which was a "bit" too short.

I think the onshore team with Wigulf &Co on the beach also had a few sleepless nights.

The operation also involved other vessels such as CSO Constructor and Normand Progress
My excellent collegues onboard was Geir Åge Moss and Trond Tollef Christiansen.
